We worked for decades and now it was time for my husband Carl and I to enjoy the future in our new home here at Bulle Rock. We thought it would be our time to finally sit back, relax, and breathe easier. Not quite, that was our pre-retirement old-way of thinking before we began to participate and experiencing community amenities. A completely different and rejuvenated lifestyle has surprisingly emerged thanks to the variety of activities available. We are enjoying various clubs, movies, music venues, bus excursions, theater productions, special classes, and socializing with friends and meeting new neighbors in a beautiful clubhouse. I cannot go on without mentioning the fitness center which includes indoor and outdoor pools, pickleball and tennis courts, modern equipment, and various exercise classes overseen by professional trainers. It is a perfect setting for all fitness levels and abilities.

We are very happy and enjoying our new home, new friends, and perfect lifestyle. We give Bulle Rock a five-star rating as the community's social aspects, events, and health benefits are unmeasurable, far beyond our expectations.

Bulle Rock is a great place to live. There are so many events, activities and clubs. Since moving here 5 years ago, we have more friends and more fun than any other place we ever lived.

The process of assimilating into Bulle Rock and Havre de Grace communities has been very easy. The activities that facilitate getting to know people, organizations, and activities are there- we chose to take advantage of them. The staff at Bulle Rock does a terrific job of communicating what is available, and we have taken advantage of the fitness center, the outdoor pool with our grandchildren, movies, ping pong, trivia, special events, community speakers, book clubs, volunteer opportunities and golf. We go downtown two or three times a week to dine, shop, or just enjoy the sights and events HDG offers. Many of the merchants are our neighbors, and that is a nice thing. We suspect we have just scratched the surface of everything that is out there to do.
